Sound problem in nes emulator 'nesticle'
The sound is a bit distorted and low, otherwise it runs at 60 fps perfectly the whole time. Windows 98 Meastro direct sound sound card 192 mb ram 11 GB HDD |

Have you tried Nestopia or VirtuaNES? Those are probably the best NES emulators currently out and they both are active, unlike Nesticle. My personal favorite is Nestopia. You won't see any updates from Nesticle ever, because some douche hacked into the author's PC and posted the source online IIRC.

Jnes isn't bad at all, in fact, it was my favorite and only emulator that I used for NES games for a long time. That is, until I found out about Nestopia of course. Jnes is still good though, it's made by one of the main coders behind PJ64, Jabo.
