Nes hacking?
I'm new to mostly ALL hacking. I want to hack Super Mario Bros. 1 on the NES. I know it's probably something really common. But I checked google, and can't seem to find much of any info on hacking it. I mainly want to change the levels, and maybe the sprites. Any help is appreciated.

Zophar had a good selection of documents back in the days ![]() You can find a list here Zophar's Domain: NES Technical Documents Note that they're not all hacking docs but you may find what you're looking for. Also, fyi. Heres a list of IPS patches for nes games: Zophar's Domain: NES Hacks |

Thanks but none of that really helped me all that much as far as hacking SMB. I suck at HEX, and I downloaded Tile Layer Pro, but you gotta edit everything by tiny little 8x8 tiles. And everything is all jumbled, so it's hard to figure out what goes to what. I was hoping for something like Lunar Magic(SMW level editor) But for NES SMB. And maybe something a bit..simpler to edit sprites. :/ Oh well, thanks anyway.
