just what is the difference between metal gear solid 2 on playstation 2, and the metal gear solid 2 that is being released on the x-box?

MGS X is supposedly just a port of MGS 2 with some improvements, but Konami isn't releasing a lot of details.

and I was thinking that the MG2 was only for PS2, if just Final Fantasy X will be ported too...

well, it would be easier to do probably.

first of all you mean MGS2. MG2 was the one before MGS.
and why did you think that? it's obvious konami is making ports. afterall mgs was ported to pc. it was only natural to see mgs2 on pc eventually. and for reasons stated above, they might as well do an xbox port. btw i think mgsx was announced quite some time ago. there is even a gbc mgs, so exclusivity would be the last thing i expect from this series.

i would say it is likely that they add some special features to mgsx. they need to, if they wanna sell any copy of it. and i think the pc port will not be around for quite some time, again for marketing reasons.

Anyone seen the "Metal Gear Solid 2 -Premium Package" for the PS2; well it's import; it comes with addition artwork illustration, soundtrack, and a glimpse work of Metal Gear Solid 3

cool huh. Price is around $130/$150.

I thought that there wasn't gonna b a MGS3, the maker of the game (I know, u can curse me 4 my insolence, but i forgot his name) said that he isn't gonna make another MGS. (and why should he, MGS2 would be hard 2 top, plus some other reasons...)

Hideo Kojima just said he wasn't going to direct any more MGS games, I'm sure the series itself will continue..

I wonder what MGS3 will be like. Man, don't get me too excited cause I have MGS2 for PS2 and I just love it. I think the best part is the enemy intelligence.
