The TV I have in my room is over 10 years old and have serious color problems (adjustments dont help much, just a little, and I do it everday). And I'm getting a PS2 soon (i've got a *deal*) So I'd really like to use my 17" monitor instead of the dying TV. But afaik, only the DC ever has a direct adapter for VGA. Why?? Why is it so hard for Sony to make something like that?

the resolution
PS2 looks like CRAP on VGA display the DC looks great because they were made to look great that way however, the way PS2 games are made, they either look god awful or not really that good on VGA, so you really won't be happy with it or without it...

hmm interesting yeah those VGA boxes are not official. Sony never made one themselves, thus my original question. so Pdaimaoh, which product was used to connect the PS2 to VGA which "looks like CRAP"? I'd want to stay away from that one...
