The intro is the best I have seen yet from a KOF game.. The character select screen is awesome..

Iori then Kyo.. Hmm.. I haven't played KOF that much so.. Whats the story between Kyo, Iori, and that dude with the grey hair? I know Kyo and Iori's story, but what with that dude?

We can't tell you , it's againts the Board Rules , just like bios and roms or other warez .

HHHmmm...I got it from the famous site. You probabily know what site it is. It said after downloading the 16 files to zip it into Kof2000.zip. So I did but when I try to run it...it doesnt show up on my list.

Several things to check:
1. Make sure you have WinKawaks 1.35
2. Make sure you have neo-geo BIOS files (4 of them I think), and it's all zipped into the KOF2000 romset as well.
3. If that still doesn't work, make sure you have the complete KOF2000 Romset... there are 18 files in the one I have, not just 16... 2 of them have identical names, but differing extensions, I don't know if this matters or not.

Are the 18 files supposed to be zipped 1 each seperately and then zipped into 1 or 18 files zipped into just 1? And after I get the Neo-Geo Bios files where do I put them?

All the 18 rom files + neo geo bios files are to be zipped into one huge zipfile.... *not* "double-zipped"

this is like the final fantasy of 2d fighting games... and beats the crap out of street fighter

Fivefeet: kyo and iori are supposed to be clan rivals but later on(around kof97) only the thought of who is the best among them only remained, and the guy with grey hair (K') is kyo's prototype clone. you can check out/download the story at gamefaqs quite a long one for a fighting game..

I like KOF a lot as well, but I am still a Street Fighter Player at heart.. I did know the story lines from previous KOFs up to 98.. Then things started gettin weird with the clone stories in 99..

Kof97 has way too many bugs, and the crazy iory and crazy leona just ruined the game,which u need only to jump and press button like crazy to kill ur oppenent,no skills needed. For the best playability, i will choose either kof98 or kof99. Kof2000 is ok... but too many unfair characters and strikers ( like joe ).
