Are there any other SNES smulators that are worth checking? I've been following these two for years, and never really thought to try anything else.

zsnes and snes9x are both excellent, and no, afaik they're not surpassed by any other emu atm. That doesn't mean it can't happen though ...Genesis was sitting still with kgen and genecyst for quite some time and then a bunch of newer, much better emu's came out.
But those snes emus are both at a point that improvements are rather insignificant; just a tiny fix here and there. unlike playstation emulation; I think there's still much to improve there, even if most people's focus is now on ps2 emulation.
(simply put; epsxe is awesome, but it isn't yet on a level like zsnes or snes9x; neither is any other ps emulator)

You might also wanna give SNEeSe a try... It's definitely not as advanced as ZSNES or SNES9x, but I'd say it's worth your time.
