just want to play mame

i d/l a few version of the latest mame
what is the source code
what is the binary code
where can i d/l the latest mame and then just click one mame.exe to open it so i can play my ro

source code is the code the emulator written with, binary file is the .exe compiled file. You only need the binary, dont bother about the source code.

i did d/l the mame078b.zip
after i extract it and click on mame.exe a dow window opens up and a window opens up and ask me to lunch mame from the command prompt < why

i have mame32.76 an i just click on mame32.exe and the program opens up and then i just load my roms to play
how come the new mame is not like that!!!

Mame is a DOS program (ish). Mame32 is the Win32 app. Two different programs.
