Alternative to Gens?

For a reason unknown to me Gens is no longer working fullscreen here, I'd like to know if there is any other genesis/genesis-cd emulator as good as Gens that I could try.

I've tried Kega, it's pretty good but only works under 16-bit color mode and doesn't let me remap my pad buttons

Try Ages, that's a fairly good genesis/32x/cd emulator.

Kega is now called Lazarus and has really progressed. It is on a level w/the latest version of Gens (the one compiled by Ipher). The only thing it lacks is the 2xSAI feature. As for Ages, it is quite good also but it is a good bit more complicated than either Gens or Lazarus. Also, IMHO, it is not as advanced as Gens or Lazarus.
sincerely,

I think it's the ForceWare 5 drivers doing the full-screen problems, I'm having troubles too. I'm starting to use Kega, but I would like a emulator that can run on a 32-bit desktop

There is one thing Kega and Kega Lazarus are missing. 32X emulation! Gens has by far the fastest and most compatible 32X emulation.

Kirby: It doesn't apply to me because I'm not using the forceware drivers and the problem is still there :/

Rosemon: Actually I've never been able to run ANY 32x game on Gens.

Why I said that it might be the ForceWare drivers was because this also happened with the latest stable release (2.11) I remember playing the same emulator with the Detonator 4s, and this is the first time it was brought up

The problem you mentioned with gens is very common and actually has to do with a windows xp update.

Here's a thread regarding information on the bug.
