Re: Emulators for Nokia N-Gage
Since it was released just recently, I doubt there are any emulators for it. Besides, if the N-gage wasnt documented, I doubt we ll see any emulator for that handheld

Re: Emulators for Nokia N-Gage
ROFL, considering the N-Gage can't handle Sonic which was ported to it from hte GBA very well, I seriously doubt it.

Are you saying these emulators you stated above exist for the N-Gage. You can provide links as proof? |

Re: Emulators for Nokia N-Gage
GoBoy is the only emulator so far. It only works because the N-Gage coinicidentally contains Nokia 7650 hardware which GoBoy can use.
Since the N-Gage has zero documentation for developers, is extremely unpopular and comes from a company which I doubt is interested in hombrew development, emulators should take a long time to come out. You want a handheld for emulation? Go find a GP32. |

Re: Emulators for Nokia N-Gage
He's right about there being various emulators out. They work because they were written for previous Nokia phones which N-Gage was intentionally made compatable with.
No new emulators have been written specifically for N-Gage, but there's more than GoBoy that will work on it. But yeah, the resolution is extremely prohibitive for emulation.. maybe if you turned it on its side and used its several right hand buttons for both left and right hand... ![]() - Exo |

Re: Emulators for Nokia N-Gage
SNES would go slow on a psone for god sake. I doubt it could even run on a ngage.

I can't guarantee this right now though (information is spotty.. like with most handhelds no one wants to disclose processor speeds) Still, I shouldn't really be saying anything because there's just no way N-Gage will ever be emulating SNES; for the matter, I'd be surprised if it even tries to emulate any serious game console that has any degree of resolution, although it at least has the buttons to compensate. - Exo |

Re: Emulators for Nokia N-Gage
i did play tomb raider on an n-gage. although i hated the phone, i must say i was impressed by the game. looked like a pixel-perfect conversion of the ps1's original tomb raider.
