Re: Neo Geo Emulator

Try NeoRageX for speed (though if you use Windows XP you'll need a patch). Nebula and Kawaks are also great emulators.

I use Nebula myself (and NeoRage for KoF games).

http://www.zophar.net/neo-geo.html - You can get NeoRage (get version 0.8c for WinXP) and Kawaks here.

http://www.zophar.net/marcade.html Get Nebula here.

You'll also need a NeoGeo bios, which you'll have to find on Google.

Re: Neo Geo Emulator

It probably had a BIOS, but you got it packed with the emulator.
Unfortunately I cannot give you a link for a site with the emulator and bios together, as the BIOS is copyrighted.

Re: Neo Geo Emulator

A few weeks ago my friend and me played metal slug 3 2-player with winkawaks 1.36 (I think that was the version) and it worked great. No probs with it at all, even with 2xsai turned on (no slowdown whatsoever on a p3 933 even with 2xsai). The only thing that we thought should be improved is the controller config. We couldn't figure out the buttons on the screen since they weren't labeled A, B, C, etc.

Lightbulb best Neogeo emulators

well, if u want compatibility with the different romset sizes and also for the newest roms; try using nebulaspecial040404 (get it at *removed* ) u can also soup up the graphics a bit by setting it to interpolationplusx2 (oh yea, its in chinese so you may struggle a bit at first

if you are in it for speed but less graphic detail; try neoragex (winxp version)

graphicswize i recommend mame32v81 (the hacked one for kof2003) with direct3d enabled. and also winkawaks 1.49 (runs neogeo and cps1 and 2 roms)
