Neogeo Lan Gaming

I want to play Kof 2000/01 or 02 on Lan. Tell me which emulator and how it can be done.

The only thing I can suggest is getting a neo geo emulator that has the kaillera netplay feature (I think kawaks is one) (kaillera doesn't play directly over a lan). Once you get the emulator set up, go to the netplay feature and look for the server with the lowest ping. Once you find it have the other ppl that you're playing against go there too. Once you are in the server start a game. Just make sure you use a server with LOW ping (30ms and below should be good, 50ms max).

Im on a dialup, when I say Ping I mean 650ms. Thats why I need to play Neogeo on Lan.

Go get an emulator that supports kaillera (WinKawaks, for example), download the kaillera server, set the server up on your LAN, and get everyone on the LAN to connect to the server. Voila!

I completely forgot that you could get the server software and run it that way . Stupid me .

mmm, why do you need a LAN for Kof if you can simply connect two joysticks to one computer?

Yup, I can do that, but the problem is that I my bro and a friend of mine cannot get their hands going on joypads, when two people are playing on the same keyboard, it creates a huge problem.

i see... using keyboard for fighting game.
i have a small arcade joystick for those. but between gamepad and keyboard, I'd go for a gamepad, especially if you need those two half circle moves...
