What software are you trying to run, I just set it up as an a500 myself and it runs everything I try on it. Im far from being an expert on this emulator but all I change from default options is I turn open gl on, point it to the kick start rom I've got, put the chip ram to 2mb, enable sound, and point it to the flopies i want to load. |

First download the latest version.. WinUAE 8.22 Release 1 from here . Your version Jaz is very old. And here are my WinUAE configs for various Amiga systems. Make sure you have the Kickstart ROMS for each Amiga. Kickstart 1.x for A1000, A500, A600, A2000. Kickstart 2.x for Amiga 3000 and Kickstart 3.x for the A1200 and A4000.

They are pretty much the specs of the hardware that the systems came with. Some may have expansions in RAM but that's about it. They should work great, I have tried each one with games and workbench.
