Look in here before you post about XBoX And Gamecube Emulators

XBoX and Gamecube emulators are not in development yet you'll need to wait at least a year before PC technology can advance to the point when it can be possible to run an XBoX/Gamecube emu at all (Besides XBoX cds run backwards and Gamecube cds can't fit in a conventional CD rom anyway)

Yup, I think next-gen-emulation is now much more popular, than it was before 5 years. Everybody think he can write a emu, so he do it. And if it doesn't work, they simply release it as fake.
But there are still some guys, who can do it, so i think there will be XBox and GameCube emulators, much earlier as it took for psx emulation. (Even if they doesn't run at fullspeed)
On the other side, i think Microsoft will sue everybody who release a "working" XBox emulator ... like they did it with Lik-Sang.
So I am sure XBox emulation will never be that popular than PSX emulation, for example

Correct me where I am wrong:

XXXBOX emulator in the making.
GCN emulator in the making.
XXXXBOX media not much of a problem.
GCN discs are mini DVDs with 1.5Gb capacity and not readable by traditional DVD roms.

XBox games aren't readable by conventional DVD drives as they are written outside in ratherthan inside out.

hi!

Yup, but look at the Dreamcast emu coders ... they are just damn lazy guys. (hi LordCheese and CyRUS-) ... that's why it take that long ... joke

LordCheese for example works since 2000 (or '99 ?) on the DreamEmu project ... but he doesn't spend all his sparetime in it, so it takes that long. I am sure if he would spend all his time on DreamEmu, we could already play DC games on the PC.

And the "power" of a machine, doesn't mean it's harder to emulate than another system. It's more the availability of documentations, compilers and source codes for the system.

Are you sure it was the real thing? I can't imagine why anyone would want an image for a GCN game at this point in time, so it may very well be a virus or a mislabelled ISO.

hmmm... sounds like a reasonable size for the game. But it could also very well be a copy of Monster Truck Madness or Power Puff Girls for PSX.

If that link is what I think it was, that "emulator" was an obvious fraud.

Hehe. that's the whole thing. There aren't any GameCube FMV players available at present either, so it wouldn't even be possible to play the opening FMV. (Unless it is in MPG2 format.)
