PSmplay problem

PSmplay plays the movies really slow on my comp. Any ideas why?
2FPS is unbearable.

It did the same with me, and the sound was terrible. I found that converting them to .avi files by using the output avi function, and saving them onto my hard drive and viewing them through windows media player that they ran perfectly. If you do this though i suggest converting them to mpeg format because avi files take up a whole heap of space.

Huh! check these out and they may help you...

Keep the size of the screen to a minimum then look at the player there are two buttons for changing the view scope from 4:3 ratio to 12:0 so keep them on the default and it'll run great....

Never did it to me but when i did what i have explained..
