Yes.. But I don't have a ps2 so I wouldn't know the details of exactly how to do it..

The only way to play burnt ISOS on a PS2 is using a Modchip. The other method requires u to be a hardware surgeon. But I must ask; Why do you want to play ISOS on a PS2 anyway? |

ok, one of my biggest pet peeves is the exchange of misinformation. This is, hands down, the right answer: We are talking about playing PSX cd-rs on a PS2. There are 2 ways of doing this. The first, like most people mentioned, is by using a modchip. The second, as a couple people pointed out, is the swap trick. Now, noone seems to understand how this works on a PS2 but I will set you straight. LiquidMAnMAn, you are correct in assuming you will need an original but your methodology is all wrong. There are a couple ways to swap, which I will not get into here, but you need the original to spin down and hopefully stop at some point and be able to load your cd. Generally Gameshark type cds are ideal for this. If you wish to find more information on this I suggest you look elsewhere. closed.

The swap trick worked on PS1, but I am not totally sure on PS2... like most answers to such questions, just search on Google ... The swapping goes work, and I used to use it quite alot, but that was many many years ago We won't be able to disclose the exact info (for legal reasons) but i did once see a commericial Playstation magazine in the UK give a two page spread on EXACTLY how to do it (i will have to find that sometime )
