Wait A minute......

Why can't you take the data from a console's "Boot Block" burn it to CD and boot your PC from that?(I can see a PC doing that to a XBoX due to the similaties(I Hope))

Not again! We already had a thread about the topic...

To make it short:
The only console that resembles the PC in terms of hardware is the Xbox all others are totally different!
And even the Xbox has some modifications, which make it different from a PC, like additional instructions in the processor, unified memory, etc pp.

XBox adds x86 instructions? What would these instructions be, pray tell?

Intel hasn't made a custom x86 processor for MS, as far as I'm aware. The only modification I'm aware of is a change in cache size, which is fairly trivial.

At least that's what I read.
But they certainly didn't just change the cache size, but also it's associativity and timing.

It probably has the same associativity as the Celeron processors (4 way set associative). The way the cache is arranged cutting it in half probably would effectively half associativity rather than half available cache lines. Dunno about timings, it's likely, but the instructions part is almost definitely false.
