Eh? You have a problem with GBA? I can't really say much about the NeoGeo Pocket, but the Wonderswan color has just barely been overtaken by the Xbox in Japan, and that's really pathetic. The only software you can get for it is Final Fantasy, as Square couldn't develop for GBA for the longest time.

There's some other really good remakes of NES/SNES Square games on WSC. I'm not a fan of ports but these games are so much radically better graphically they're worth it. If you haven't played FF2 for NES and want to play it you should really pick up the WSC version. - Exo |

....its a handheld console released in Japan a couple of years ago, by BANDAI. Some time later WonderSwanColor was also released. I don't know the technical specs, but the games are on par with Nintendo's GBA... maybe better (and yes, its games library includes Square RPGs). There was some talk about it getting released in the US, too

Wonderswan color is essentially a failed handheld. The last nail in its coffin was nailed when Square was allowed to develop for GBA. Wonderswan color wasn't capable of running SNES ports, so Square needed the GBA. Sights, the specs on the Wonderswan color are FAR below the GBA's. The game quality is also significantly lower. However, if you are a big time Final Fantasy fan, Final Fantasies 1, 2, and 3 have been ported to the system. |
