mame probs, again

I'm using mame32 v0.57 and whenever I click on a game to play a window pops up and says it's loading, but after it's done another window pops up and says that nothing was found. (yes, I did put the roms in the 'roms' folder)

btw, [to all noobs] pls read the forum rules (here: http://www.ngemu.com/forums/showthre...=&threadid=405) b4 u post cuz I don't want this thread to be closed b4 I can figure out wats wrong cuz some stupid noob was asking for roms.

press f5 at the available roms selection pannel.

btw, mame 0.58 has been released for a few days by now..

mame32 .58 is also out.. try pressing f5..

I pressed f5 and it still woln't read them. I guess I'll dl mame32 v0.58 tomarrow

configure the directory settings, then rescan your roms.
If you want to play neogeo games though, don't forget to put the 4 files of the neogeo bios in each game zip.

Put them in one zip, neogeo.zip.

ok, I got aliens vs. predators to work, but how do u insert a coin? how do u select the keys u want to use?

Coins are usually in the 5, 6, 7, and 8 buttons, and start is usually in the 1, 2, 3 and 4 buttons on the keyboard. There are four coin and start buttons as some games support 4 players.

To configure the keys, enter the game and press TAB to access the in-game menu.

Which by the way, is all written in the documents that come with mame and mostly every other emulator out there..
