what's next after chip-8 ?
Hi, I have finished my first emulator in c#. It's a chip-8 emulator. It was an easy work, just few hours. So now, I am looking for advice about the next step. A nes emulator isn't it too hard ? or maybe a C64 ? thanks ![]() oldteen PS:sorry for my poor english, I am a french speaker. |

Congrats. By the way, is your chip8 emu available for download? Atari, Nes, or normal Gameboy could maybe be worth considering after chip8. A number of docs can be found here if needing inspiration to choose which console to go after next http://emu-docs.org/

i highly advise against going to nes or gb after chip 8, even after space invaders, gb was a major step in complexity. just know it wont be easy in any case, even space invaders was difficult at first for me.
