Which one is better? For what reasons?

Don't know, but this kind of thread belongs in Misc console discussion, so I'll move it there.

Fb is better for low end computers.. It runs the fastest on low end comps.. Kawaks runs slower on low end comps but has more features.. I prefer kawaks.. I don't have a low end comp.. Most people with low end comps usually like FB since it's fast..

IMO.. Kawaks is better.. More video blitter effects, a jukebox feature... ect..

I agree. But Final Burn Alpha is played on Kaillera alot more and has even developed a tournament system (KGB).

I think the only reason it's played online more is because it's the fastest cps2 emu for all types of computers..

I think Kawaks is better by far. It has like 150% more functions than FBA (I mean, the original FBA one and not the hacked version), just to begin.

I myself prefer Nebula to both of these emu`s. Elsemi has added a great transparency feature to it, and Neo-Geo games look better in Nebula than in Kawaks to me.

I prefer Final Burn Alpha, although I've tried Kawaks and Nebula as well. My computer is fast enough for all those emulators, I just prefer FBA for some reason. I'm starting to use the other CPS2 emulators for neo geo games though, since neoragex doesn't work in XP.

Does FBA support Super 2xSaI screen filtering too?

Kawacks is better for me. Nebula is cool, but Kawack runs better for me. FBA looks crappy in comparison.

Hmm, I don't like using 2xSAI. It warps the image and makes the edges stand out. Personally I just use hardware blit (for Nebula) or DD filtering.

I like the 75% scanline with 2xsai blitter in Kawaks. And it runs very well on my computer. I think it runs full speed while skipping 1 frame each time (cause when things are suppose to falsh they dont but oh well, the game itself runs smooth )

For my comp, kawaks is the fastest NG/CPS/CPS2 Emu so i like it more than FB or Nebula.
For NeoGeo only, the fastest is NeoRageX (it works in my XP, but there are some patches on the net to get it working if that isn't the case), but it doesn't support features like hardware stretching.

Combining with Full screen stretching (in 1024x768 x16bpp in my desktop setting) I think 2xSaI works wonderful under Kawaks, I didn't know how it looks in hardware blit or DD filtering though, some screenshots will be nice.

Here is something that Kawaks can do that none of the other Cps2 emus can.. Motion blurring.. Makes it feel like your playing on a LCD screen.. heh..

'50% frame blend' achieves transparency, not motion blur.
