Best NES emulator?

I've used a great many NES emulators, and most of them seem a little off. FCEultra and NEStopia give me sound errors, and loopynes (my favorite by far) isn't available for windows. Any suggestions?

Whats your PC's specs?

Nestopia and Nintendulator should have perfect sound and graphics, however they carry major speed hits due to thier extreme accuracy......

IMO, Nestopia. There's also JNES, which I used to use before I discovered Nestopia.

VirtuaNES, anyone? That one is closest to the real deal, if you ask me.

There will never be a 1:1 accurate palette, ever. Similar, yes. Accurate, no.

Lol. That's not possible.

Anyways, I will steal your "similar" palette and use it in Nestopia.

I heard the NES emulator by mudlord is very, very good. M-nes is the name, if I'm not mistaken...

I don't use NES emulators much, tho.

Ahh, FCEUltra, that's quite an old one. I still have that, as well as a copy of Nesticle from the late 90's.

The NES Emulators I've used the most would have to be FCEUltra, Nesticle, RockNESx, Jnes, NesterJ, and Nestopia.

Of those my favorites would have to be Nestopia and Jnes.
