seeing that the Xbox is just a pc in a smaller box, does that mean it'll be simple 2 make an emulator?

Oh yeah I'd better answer the original question I suppose.

No. The file system is non standard, the OS is non standard, the disks are encrypted and check the version of the os and probably have copy protection routines. Hence the x-box ain't a pc in a smaller box.
