it will be mainly GUI on the first few releases then i will work on Playing Wii Games.
A word of advice. If you are going to be writing an emulator (and even thinking of releasing it for that matter), make sure that it's functional (i.e. able to show some homebrew/commercial game graphics, not just be able to open/close) first, otherwize your emulator will just look like a fake.

I'm curious to know... how much do you know about the Wii hardware/software wize? How much system documentation do you have? Do you know anything about the executable format the Wii uses? How many emulators have you worked on before? Please let us know before the negative comments start flooding this thread.

Playing games is not implemented yet. I starting making this in August of last year. I couldn't work on it much because i was in juvie from December 4th to January 28th. I am creating this in C++. The first few releases wil be mainly GUI. I'm waiting on someone to crack the encryption on the BIOS and the Firmware.

Well, if it doesn't emulate, then it's not an emulator. Therefore, it's not a Wii emu yet.

Anyways, best of luck with your project. I hope you make some progress with this in the future, even though there is no emulation atm. Don't bull**** us.

BTW: IN BEFORE THE LOCK.

BTW2: Why were you in juvie?

My suggestions.

1) Don't announce emualtors until you have something to show (IE it can run homebrew apps). Releasing "mainly GUI" is utterly stupid.

2) Using freewebs pretty much shows a lack of programming ability, as anyone who can code in C/++ should have the ability to code at least in some basic HTML (I know 10 year olds who can make fairly decent pages).

3) Its obvious you have close to no idea what your doing, I suggest you start with a small project like Chip8 or perhaps Gameboy, as I have no doubt in my mind you don't have the ability to undertake such a huge project.

Best of luck on 'project 128' and future emulation projects.

So basically you're going to wait for someone to figure out the Wii's encryption and then just "add" it into your GUI?... Ok dokey.

Locked. No offense, a gui isn't an "emulator" XD
Dunno but I've heard the "I'm building the gui first" story so many times....

Let me know once you have something, I can always unlock this later.
