Hi ! I guess it's time to release a new version. It'll be version 1.7.0 and will have the following changes :
1 - Wanted controller selectable through a list, it'll record the joystick name instead of the joystick index 2 - Removal of the "Save config" button, config saved when clicking OK 3 - SDL providing back, I took it off from my zips because I was unsure about the license, but now I'm sure that I can provide SDL in my zips and it'll be provided with new version. 4 - Removal of the "Axis sensibility" option, the threshold value will be half of max value. And, if iDeaS gets ported over other platforms, you can also freely port DsPad. Most of the code is cross-platform, the Linux GUI uses GTK so it should be portable to MacOS or other systems. EDIT : the changes I talked about aren't applied, but it'll take little time to apply them, compile DsPad under Win32, reboot, compile DsPad under Linux (yes, I've multi-boot), zip source, both binaries, SDL and upload the zip here. EDIT2 : Linux SDL doesn't seem to support POVs, they're recognized as axes. I think I'll include a tweak in Linux version to support this.

Great plugin Nhervé, it's my favourite pad plugin for iDeaS; I'm using it since I started using iDeaS
![]() The only minor problem that I found now, is that the START button doesn't work if I press any direction on the POV (not the analog stick). I saw your sources and all pages of this topic, the bug is probably from iDeaS. Although I just wanted to post this here, Lino should check some addresses again. One more time, thanks for your plugin ![]() EDIT: okay, I know that it's my problem : when I config my pad (for PC/PS2/PS3, even though I only use it on my PC) under Windows, the START and SELECT buttons turn off when I press the POV ![]() So, nothing's wrong with Dspad or iDeaS. It's just my pad that's causing trouble... By the way, good luck for version 1.7.0 Last edited by D1M1TR1; August 24th, 2008 at 19:05. |
