Save config too and still have the same result. Up and down and Left still have a problem that I can't move. I just found out that when I press X button and Left D-Pad then I can move Left!!! There are other buttons with Up an Down have the same issues expect Right D-Pad work perfect, lol.

It is not right. LOL!

I can't move right and down. Interestingly enough, it seems as if the "up" and "left" buttons were slightly pressed continuously, since when I use the "down" and "right" keys in my keyboard, the character basically takes "broken steps". However, what's weirder, is that the character doesn't move up and left constantly, so it's NOT the keys being pressed either.
And my gamepad is properly calibrated, yes.

once a rom is loaded your plugin no longer has buttons assigned in it.

ahh. i see now.

when no rom is loaded, the dspad.ini is saved to the emulators folder.

but when a rom is loaded the dspad.ini is saved to the rom folder.

up and left work for me, right and down don't,
if X is pressed all work.

Yeah, the plugin doesn't work at all with my Microsoft X-Box 360 controller. It won't let me map any buttons.

It is a strange bug I know : your roms must be in the iDeaS root folder, else dspad creates another config file in the folder of the roms.

For the problems with directions, you say when X is pressed the plugin works fine ? This must be a conflict with the X button.

Go to first post to get the new version, I hope this will fix this conflict.

With the newer 1.1.0, and I'm not sure about 1.0.0, I can't get the diagonal directions on my DPad to work. Anyone else noticed this?

I can move in every direction with the new version, but now I can't use X or Y.

Could it be a conflict with the keyboard config? I notice that when I try to use the keyboard when I have the gamepad plugin selected, it's like I can only move/jump by tiny bits then it stops.

Don't put the same keys in key config and my plugin to avoid conflicts. Make sure DsPad is enabled. Go to first post to get version 1.2.0, hoping this will fix these bugs.

I can't see any differences in 1.2.0, unfortunately. Diagonals and my Y button won't work. There aren't any conflicts as far as I can see.
