Zelda Phanton Hourglass does net get past the nintendo logo.

also
is anyone else noticing that having Alpha Blending enabled causes black lines and stuff?
Edit,.. odd the blacklines have fixed emselves now :\

Audio plugin won't save changes to the frequency

enabling multisampling in the opengl options ends up in the emulator reporting that it doesn't support this pixel format

bpp:24 alpha:8 z:16 stencil:8 multisample 2x.

the reason for this is that MSAA in a 32bpp resolution requires a 24bit Zbuffer or none at all

basically according to the pixel formats list

a 24b zbuffer can be used in 16bpp, but a 24b zbuffer MUST be used (if one is to be used) in 32bpp

heres what is listed under my supported pixel formats (checked against 2 other computers for the same results)

and lastly, Pokemon Diamond and Pearl wont load after saving, some error screen shows

I notice about Contact.

To register such as your pet's name, etc is in black screen but I have to press Z repeatly to guess the letters then press enter then it is coming back to Scientist. Maybe something to do with bug that block the screen so you cannot see it or something.

EDIT: Now after you find the green emerald then you are not able to see anything on the bottom of the black screen.

Hmm the new append sound option is really weird...it actually makes everything slower for me. The sound keeps on trying to play and the game waits for it but then it get's cut off and relooped.

Zelda - was playable with graphical errors, now unplayable. Won't get bast Nintendo logo.

Castlevania PoR locks up in the beginning when the characters are talking.

The other castlevania seems a bit faster though.

The error appears when iDeaS doesn't succeed in using the multisample 2x. Without multisample the same pixelformat is used, from the first release. I have found an error it can give him is that. Unfortunately my video card doesn't allow to select away software the multisample, therefore I don't succeed in trying.
Thanks for your help.

thats because iDeaS is using the wrong pixel format
it needs to use a 24b Zbuffer (or none at all) when trying to apply MSAA under a 32bpp (24bpp+8balpha) screen mode.

infact, if you set your desktop to 16bpp MSAA will work as 16b Zbuffer is compatible with 16bpp

Zelda is not playable here either, so your either using a patched version or lieing, i'd rather think it to be a patched rom.
edit,.. OK WTF now its working! this be some strange **** going on here >.<

have seen an example of NeHe, lesson 46, use this pixelformat:
Code:
		WGL_DRAW_TO_WINDOW_ARB,GL_TRUE,
		WGL_SUPPORT_OPENGL_ARB,GL_TRUE,
		WGL_ACCELERATION_ARB,WGL_FULL_ACCELERATION_ARB,
		WGL_COLOR_BITS_ARB,24,
		WGL_ALPHA_BITS_ARB,8,
		WGL_DEPTH_BITS_ARB,16,
		WGL_STENCIL_BITS_ARB,0,
		WGL_DOUBLE_BUFFER_ARB,GL_TRUE,
		WGL_SAMPLE_BUFFERS_ARB,GL_TRUE,
		WGL_SAMPLES_ARB,2,
		0,0
.

NeHe seems to be abit behind

change WGL_DEPTH_BITS_ARB,16, to

WGL_DEPTH_BITS_ARB,24, and MSAA will work

as i shown in the screen dumps i took, there is no 16b zbuffer in the 32bpp screen modes. (maybe different on ATI)

ah i also just found out that since you were using 8bit stencil, you need to use 24b z-buffer.

apparently the 16b z-buffer can't have 8b stencil

this might help you.

No dice for me When starting the emulator I get a critical error and crash to desktop, even if I delete the .ini and redownload the whole program and so forth.

P4 2000 mhz
768 MB RAM
ATI Radeon 9200 SE

Nothing else running on the system.

if Zelda is freezing on the main screen for anyone, you need to disable "Increase speed when cpu is stopped."
