How to use no$gba saves on ideas

If you want to use no$gba saves files on ideas, then use the converter provided below to convert your no$gba save into a vba save. VBA Saves are recognizable by all emulators and all save editors.
Attached Files
File Type: zip No$Gba to VBA.zip (46.8 KB, 245 views)

i think this tool was already posted in nogba forum, but anyway.

you can simply remove the first 0x4C bytes of the nogba save with a hexadecimal editor or 0x1F4h from *.duc files.

You mean this:

How to hack your Pokemon Save File Instructions

Am I right ?

If I am wrong. Please show a screenshot to tell us where to remove it, ok ? Thanks.

here's a easy way to use no$gba saves on ideas without convertting.
Open NO$GBA.ini
SAV/SNA File Format == Compressed or SAV/SNA File Format == Uncompressed
change to
SAV/SNA File Format == Raw.
then run game on NO$GBA and save, the save can be used in iDeas and DeSumME without convertting.copy the save to the game folder.because all save files in NO$GBA are 512K,other emulators will make mistake in auto detect save type, make sure to choose correct save type in manual.

I have tried that game and it work by that way,I think you have chosen the wrong save type, you should choose EEPROM 512Kbits before start game.

i've saved my game on no$gba with FRAM 32kbyte and as far as i can see there is no FRAM 256Kbit on ideas. that might be the reason why it doesn't work. or does anyone of you know how i can make it work?

i notice testing an old save game from Costom Robo Arena on no$gba (eeprom 64 kbytes) that on iDeaS i got to set to 512kbites or it won't work so always set 512kbites when you tranfer it

Edit: it was a mistake iDeaS recognize the save as Flash 4Mbits and corupt the save file so set eerom 64 kbits manual on iDeaS options

i've tried to load the game with 512kbits and it didn't work. i think to play my savestate i need FRAM 256kbits, and ideas doesn't offer this option.

Oh alright. I will keep Raw because of uncompressed isn't really necessary!

Anybody cares to tell the no$gba developer about that ?

he should add RAW save support without nogba header (all of them because an uncompressed file is always 521kb) in the save file, so you can use the save in any emulator.
