Should be ok. Gotta just try it. Keep in mind that it isn't perfected yet. It's in the stage of trying to get games to work. Some games work, some partially and some not at all.

I doubt it will run too well....but it's not like it's cause for an upgrade...it should work better later on in it's development. Besides if you would be willing to spend money on an upgrade then it would be much better to just buy a real DS and the game you want to play, with a flash cart to try out an homebrew apps.

Chi can just buy a 512mb stick of ram for a cheap upgrade. If you don't know how to install ram, I'd take it to a computer place. That system should be ok for another few good years yet as long as it is only a win2k or xp system.

Not for PC gaming no way. Heck my system is outdated I can just about manage medium to low on current games.
For the upcoming game Crysis on possible requirements given by one of the game devs I am just a fraction above minimum...in other words I can barely run the game on low.

i got 1.7ghz but am keeping my hopes up. Hey does reducing sound card acceleration in DXdiag help increase in speed for games... i saw significant change in Zelda for N64

can i somewhere switch on support for dual core ??? i have AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+...its play with one core and its slow =//

No there's nothing you can do. The emu does not dupport dual-cores.
