I had this problem too and I use Windows XP with everything needed.
It looks like changes in controls aren't saved by the newest version of emu(still not sure about this). To solve that- copy .exe file and plugins from the 1.0.1.6 version to the folder with older version of emu(for me it was 1.0.1.5) and accept to overwrite. Emulator will use controls settings(.ini file or something) from earlier version Hope it will help You. |

Remembers my controls fine. I have no control issues. Nor can I think of any reason why you should or how to help you...but it's not the emu's fault...at least not directly.

ok now it works
it seems that the default config is arrows as directional pad but it showed num8 num2 and the others so when i change the default the emu goes crazy and cant save anymore but with a fresh cfg file every trhings ok (deleted the old setting file) P.S i'm using xp sp2 but with themes (vista look)

Controls are even affected i think by switching the num lock on or off plus if u get an error i.e.) Read error , put the files and folder in your root directory ( C: or D
because even that causes the controls not to work
