TweakGuides.com - ATI Catalyst Tweak Guide

Well more specifically
TweakGuides.com - ATI Catalyst Tweak Guide

You need to have downloaded the ATI Catalyst drivers with the Catalyst Control Center (the bigger ones)(they require .Net Framework 2).
Alternatively you can also use ATI tray tools as described in that guide.

i use joytokey to play with my joypad.. but after 6-8 inputs i have to wait 5-10sek ... it doesnt happen when i use the keyboard.. but some games are just not playable with keyboard.. are u goin to enable joypad input & configuration soon?

oh and please work on your sound plugin.. sometimes i start ideas and there isnt a single sound.. and if, then its mostly a lil crappy.. but.. for me its still the best emu .. great speed & compatibility..

Hey Lino, I've had a hard time contacting you! I just wana say great job on the iDeaS emulator. I will wait patiently for your updates on it! the only thing that is bad is the sound. However, sound comes last, the emulation itself is wonderful!

The audio depends a lot on the speed of your pc, besides, a lot of times, to improve the audio needs to select Syncronize in File->Properties->DirectSound Plugin.

tried it and.. well.. at least i heard sound again in some roms but .. emulation goes down to 3-15fps sometimes ingame.. big lags on 44khz/sync and there is still alot noise

keep on the good work!

do u think im right saying that the joypad input lags after around 5 buttons pressed cuz of my mid class computer?

ShakirMole your entire computer is weak....that Celeron (not pentium...there is no pentium like that) 1,7Ghz chip is a horrible chip. P4VM800 asrock is not your processor, it's your motherboard.
Yes I know about this because the 1,7Ghz celeron is my old chip.

Thanks the syncroizing seems to work pretty well with the sound, then again sometimes when I try to load a game it comes to an error while running it (could be just me, or a error in coding not sure) so pretty much syncrozing on my pc sometimes feezes the program, then closes. THANKS FOR THE TIP THOUGH ALOT BETTER SOUND EFFECTS!

PC Specs

Aspire 5100 model (not sure if important)
ATI Radeon 1100 series
Realtek Sound Card (Not sure which version)
Two 512 DDR2 RAM sticks (1 gig total)
AMD 64 x2 Mobel Processor 1.6 ghz 2 cpu (Supports 64 bit, and sorry for bad name)

------------------------------
I messed up on the names because recently I had to take my computer in for repair, it seems I got a processor virus or something that cuts down the cpu usuag from 1.6ghz down to 800mhz for about 5 seconds goes back, trust me you would notice if it was your pc!
