send all your files in the root directory i.e. C: or D: whatever because the path through which u reach your directory may have names containing spaces so C is the best for solving this

I noticed something interesting.
Etrian Odessy is unplayable and this does not change that. But it is nevertheless interesting. Lino first of all you have and always had the top and bottom screens mixed around in the options. Changing a layer in the bottom screen options disables/enables it on the top window. Secondly though when I turn as per the emulator options the bottom screen layer 3 off, then in the top window the lines that were black lines that were originally across the screen vanish. The top screen then looks more as it should without the curtain effect of those black lines. It is still unplayable though because one screen goes missing, or the screens double up and show the same thing, or switch around randomly. I can post screens of all of this id anyone wants. |

0_o I never thought of using AA with emus.
There's no slow-down or lag? cuz on PC games it's a killer if you don't blow the requirements away for a game to use AA. Edit: Ok Lino screenshots are done, it's going to take a while to upload all 24 of them and to make a good post along with them. I finally found a screenshot program though which can take propper screenshots of iDeaS...pity it's only a trial or you gotta pay, but it worked fine for this purpose...and I suppose I can just redownload the trial version every month. Edit2: Ok finally done. I got destracted on an avatar hunt >_<, but all the images are up now I just need to make the propper post. Edit3: Ok actual post time. (I hope no ones posts now). Anyways first up are the images with bottom layer 1 (sorry it was 1 not 3) enabled. ![]() Ok next up I disable bottom layer 1 and try to setup a character and party. ![]() ![]() You can see the screen double up and vanishing screen issue well in those screens, then I turned on the bottom layer1 again and the emulator seemed to change it's mind on what was bottom and what was top. Notice the curtain effect moves. ![]() Then I went into no$gba to try and show how things should look. ![]() ![]() Hope that helps you Lino. Last edited by SCHUMI-4-EVA; June 9th, 2007 at 01:17. |

Isn't antialiasing going to blur the screen though? I prefer when the screen is clear. :P
The wireframe lines are probably just some leftover in the code. Desmume had them too, but they were removed and the screen's still clear and sharp. |

I looked it up and it can slow down frame rates on games, espeically for onboard graphics cards because the processor handles both the game engine and graphical frames being drawn. But when I enabled it on my card (which is only onboard now), I didn't notice a difference. There is more of a slowdown when audio is enabled. Though I have ideas forced in 640x480 mode so my eyes don't strain too badly, that might be a reason why there wasn't a noticable slowdown.
