Thank you! Here's what new:

1) Megaman ZX works at full speed without frameskip! And the menu now displays the rotating 3D models correctly!
2) Megaman Battle Network 5 DS works at almost full speed with voices and Megaman's 3D model almost perfect!
3) Advance Wars DS is now almost playable... because you can see the field and the soldiers and all that... and the speed is pretty decent too!

Borat: Naaaiiiiccceeee!

Edit: Oh... and how does Super Mario 64 at full speed with almost perfect graphics sound?

Castlevania Portrait of Ruin:
Runs at 25-30, Vincent is slighty buggy. But otherwise no problems.
And yes, much faster this time round Great release guys!

lol It still goes 3fps on my Pentium D 3.0

I think I'll stick with desmume or no$. But since many say the speed went up I think it was a good idea for them to target speed than compatibility first since they already have some games working so why make everyone wait.

Well, it's rather convenient, that some of his "new" features in this release were just on desmume source code that has been released a week ago... And about the speed, remember to set frameskip to 0 before comparing (not saying it's not faster than others, just that it has frameskip set to 2 by default, thus making direct comparisons not fair :P).

Megaman ZX at full speed with sound (frameskip 0) is not a drastic speed boost? Oh and the computer I'm running this on is in my signature. If you don't believe me, I can post some screenshots.

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow now crashes when you try to go into the menu.

Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin works fine, except it's very unstable and crashes every few minutes for no reason. That's the game's fault though, it's badly coded. It crashes like that from time to time even on a real cartridge, but not as often.

The palette bug and screen size bug are finally fixed. There's still ugly wireframe all over the 3d objects though. The tiles jump around from time to time too. Still, very nice improvement.

Anyone tried Pokemon Ranger yet?

Hehe I am too busy to post screenshots and test if it works fully, but most of you might be pleasantly surprised.

0_0 Lino....Wow hey man, great work!!!

Nice to see you on here =)

Not a complaint or anything but did you know that your text in most games has Japanese like characters in light gray behind it?
Just thought I would tell you about it so that you could could know about it incase you did not.

Just wanted to know exactly, as it's too much of a coincidence that some of the features just included in desmume, are now included in Ideas. I might be just wrong, as you asked for the .duc importing code, instead of just copying it. It's just that coincidences are rare, more keeping in mind that LDRD and STRD are barely used by any game.

Sorry if I'm wrong, but I guess you can see that the whole situation is rather strange. My apologies if I'm wrong and this is disturbing you more than anything else.

About the .duc importing code, you're free to use it, as long as you keep in mind it's GPL (and no special permission will be given aside that), if you use it, you will have to release Ideas source code. It's not a greedy thing about our code, it's just that if someone can learn from our code, we would like to learn from others code
