2 questions about iDeaS emulator

I have 2 questions about the emulator. I've looked everywhere and just can't find the answer. Could someone help me? I would appriciate it very much.

Q1) I've downloaded a .sav file of a beaten game, but can't seem to figure out how to load it in the emulator.

Q2) Can I go somewhere to download .cht files off the internet to use them in the emulator? I've searched for them, but with no luck.

For cht files are iDeaS dipendent, they are simple text files. For other i dont know you cant try with import save.

So, does anyone know how to load any game save in iDeaS? I have no clue how to load a game save.

well first the .sav file u download has to have the exact name as the game file. you can change it by renaming the .sav file

next you have to place it in the same place as your game file.

afaik they do. im not sure tho
all i do know is that .sav created by the R4DS work with ideas lol

check if your rom is the same region as the .sav

as long as you use it for homebrew only, yes
