I guess you posted from the RC1, cuz it's been submitted in hardware section, duh

SP3 highly unwelcome here, no matter how much they swear otherwise AutoPatcher FTW, much more friendly and usable

Really? That's odd.. You sure you got this version from the link? Well, after all this is a RC1 so yeah... You should do some benching before making claim. Not just pcsx2, that more of a hardware related issue . Oops, forgot this is a hardware section, not software hehe.

Would that reason have anything to do with you copy of winxp. I see nothing wrong with verifying that you own a piece of software as long as its not done invasively.

the fact that it IS DONE INVASIVELY. it doesn't just check the PID, it also scans hardware and hard drive serial numbers.

This an official public test release? As in it wasn't only supposed to be available to Beta Testers and MSDN Subscribers?

Correct. This is for the public not the tester or MSDN folks. Although they can still use it if they please.

What in the world did they put into the public release? The beta version ran much faster than this on my laptop... now it's even slower than SP2. :/
