Networking help
I have two machines and both with 2 network ports:
Computer 1:
Computer 2:
Both computers are connected to a router, with Comupter 1's 10/100 port and one of Computer 2's ports. Both are running Windows XP SP2. With the two gigabit ports, I got myself a cat6 [crossover] cable to connect both together, for faster file transfers between the two. Without the Internet ports connected, the transfer between the computers work like a charm at 50MB/s-55MB/s, but the Internet doesn't work when I decide to plug them in. Also, when I disable the crossover connection via the control panel, the Internet works fine but when I enable the port, the Internet suddenly drops (Firefox, etc). How would I go about fixing my problem, which, in summary, is how to tell my computers which ports to use for each application.

you could try on both pc's selecting both connections then right clicking n selecting "Bridge Connections" dont know if itll work but its worth a try.
generally windows hates you using 2 lan connections.
