Looking for a Hardware retailer that ships internationally.

Newegg, circuit city, ad nauseum are some of the retailers with good prices that don't ship internationally. Larger stores like Best Buy or Amazon do ship internationally but their prices are not as good. I was wondering if you could give me some recommendations about stores that balance these two factors.

For obvious reasons if it doesn't ship to all the world but it does ship to Mexico it still fits my needs

what you need is a shopping buddy.

someone in the states to send you the package as a "gift" to get around paying customs charges.

I have one, saved me a bundle on my pc it has, shipping on my 8800 was about $30, but considering it was about $300 less to buy than in the UK thats a steal

as long as the purchase is worth it, then do it. If the P&P makes up the price to the same as your country, i wouldnt bother. Remember if the shop sends it internationally, you will have to pay customs fees, which will bring the price up to the same or over what it would cost for you to buy it from a local online shop.

I'd be hesistant considering warranty when buying from Ebay. These are mostly not official stores or at least dodgy ones. That might void it as you are might technically be having second handed wares.

I've made more than 30 purchases with ebay sellers. I never had any problems. You just need to be careful on the description, avoid the more possible the ones without photos,be aware of the seller's reputation, and take care of adding the *#@!!* shipping fee.

And the warranty is handled by the constructor in most case if it isn't in all cases (I had no problem for repairing my k750i paid on the site). Moreover ebay, if you like bids, can really help you to lower the price of the item you want to get ( I remember I took a new pair of shoes for 70 dollars knowing the real price was 120 dollars).

Of course, but what I mean is that sometimes an item may be broken out of the box, it happens, and some videocards start artifacting right away. And that's when it's up to the company's policy to see if you can still apply for an RMA or not. I'm not saying it is like that per definition, but it might be something you want to dig into before deciding to buy things online and abroad. It's one of the reasons why I'm very hesitant on buying my monitor in Germany.

Ah yes...In this case it really depends on the seller you're are dealing with...But as you know: nothing Done, nothing earned....Anyway if I were you, I would be also hesitant about an abroad monitor purchase...
