So, you should check previously if your motherboard will lbe compatible with C2D

For C2D...
C2D Overclocking Guide for Beginners - HEXUS.community discussion forums

Once you get the hang of that, RPGW1ZaRD created a thread with information on finding the best OC without necessarily having the highest clock; which can be found HERE

EDIT: For cooling, I'd recommend a Scythe Andy Samurai Master. Not super expensive, relatively light, and performs very well. Maximum clock speeds vary with each CPU, but I'm guessing you can reach 3.5Ghz easy.

You should get a P35 board and not a 650i Ultra one.

Every high-end chipset supports the 45nm CPUs.
Overclocking is the only benefit. And for Quad-Core CPUs, this is a must because all the other chipsets can't overclock them well enough.

I'd save a bit more and get a Core 2 Duo. Pentium D's aren't the best Dual Core processors, they are easily outdone by the Athlon 64 X2. It's much more worth it.

He said he is now getting a C2D (Third Post).

And Pentium D's are generally outdone by single core Athlon 64's.

Once agian sry for no replys but iv benn bussy and my internet conection was
oh and btw im getting that pc 30 this month i know there are still 4 days to go at least here but i like to think ahead
Well i have few mor question
1.Is it big difrence bettwen mobo o chosed and one of those P35 cause when i cheked price for one of those then that P35 is a lot more expensive at least here
so unless i chop somthing from the list i can't aford it.
2.Will i be able OC it with that mobo from my spec atleast to 3.2 GHZ 3.0 would be the minimum i want to achive is it even possoible.
3. And now grand question will i be able with these specs
play Final Fantasy X and X2 and KH 1 , 2 (this when the newer PCSX2 comes out)

1 The biggest difference IMO is that P35 will support the upcoming Penryn processors.
2 Most likely yes for 3.2, and a guarantee for 3 (You may need aftermarket cooling tho)
3 Yes (not sure about KH 2 since its not out yet, but you can definitely play the others with full/nearly full fps)

Big sry guys for double post but i want this topic to be seen as new
Tomorow i giong to the shop to order my PC
And the question is final which mobo i should choose which mobo is better to OC a C2D

1.EVGA 122-CK-NF66-T1 nVidia 650i ULTRA Socket 775
tuanming sead that this one is less OC able and on other topic i read that 650i ULTRA are hot dogs and i dont realy like when it hot since my PC is almost non stop on somtimes i dont shut it down fo a entire week i know im a killer
2.MSI P35 Neo-F Intel P35 Socket 775
Since is a P35 i gues it should have higher OC abilities but i can be wrong this one was added today to shop list

Oh and a side question
is my GPU a good one you can read above
GALAXY 7900GS 256MB 600/1600 its already OC to 650/1900 is it max or i can get more yeah i know im mad
