I think the best one is the 7600gs, I don't think the 2600pro will be worth it, but may I ask why do you want to change your card?

If you're going to upgrading your GPU, I'd upgrade your CPU while you're at it. They're both pretty much outdated.

I'd probably go for the 2600 Pro, although I have no clue how it directly relates to the 7600, I suppose the newer features make up for it. That is, the HD2600 IS capable of adding to hardware decoding of videos? Unlike the broken HD2900 implementation.

As far as I can see from Toms Hardware's GPU charts, the HD2600XT is a lot faster than the 7600GS, dunno about the Pro though. Considering the image quality the GF7 gave me, I'd pick ATi over it anyway.

id go for the ATi, i presume it will be faster than the 7600GS which to be honest is barely better than your 6600, so if you got that youd really be wasting your money.

You can try and find an Opteron 165, or any X2 939 online. There are plenty of them swimming around on Ebay at a good price.

HD 2600 all the way baby My sis has a 7600GS SLi rig; its fast, but the image quality is noticeably a lot worse than my other rigs - even using a DVI cable.
