Need ideas on this

Hi there guys.I just got a small contract to set up a small LAN in a new office.It's a good thing for me cos I'm pretty broke right now.So I have to carry out this job well.It's a preety easy job.Just set up a local network where all the systems can see eachother and all connected to one printer.I don't wanna botch this up cos I got a promise from the guy for more jobs in the future if I pull this off.I know how to do this in theory....I've never actually practicalized it.I could really appreciate any tips and guidance anyone could give me.There's also the issue of trunking the network cables....Thanks guys.
