overclocking with no dual chanel???

hi there guys
can i overclock my system if i dont have dual chanel rams
they are 333 ddr 1 rams and 2X512 2 different brands so is it doable or not

haha I laugh everytime people talk about "dual channel" most of the time... no it won't affect it as long as your RAM sticks are capable of similiar timings.

And remember that the system will run to the speed of the slowest memory
So if you have a memory with worst timings that the other, the system will use (get the configuration) of the slowest one.
The same as the overclock capability.
