External Hard Drive Question

I wanted to get an external drive for storing my big game image files but did not know how much is enough. When I say game image files I mean a large majority of my PSX, Dreamcast, and a portion of Gamecube and PS2

I was thinking of getting a maxtor 1 tb or a 500 gb..which one is the better buy?

My best bet if you don't have a ton of money is 500 that could hold a ton of games or if u have a ton of money go tb. it holds a huge amount.Remember to get a good cooler.
