My soon to be specs.

So here the things I'm going to buy on newegg.

ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler - Retail

Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 Conroe 1.86GHz LGA 775 Processor Model BX80557E6300 - Retail

Thermaltake W0093RU ATX 12V 2.0 Version 500W Power Supply - Retail

G.SKILL 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Standard System Memory Model F2-6400CL5S-1GBNQ - Retail

ASUS P5B-E Socket T (LGA 775) Intel P965 Express ATX Intel Motherboard - OEM

The total without shipping and tax is $525.96.

I'm not going to buy a video card right now cause I'm waiting for the nvidia 8600 to hit the shelves.
In the meantime I'll manage with a 7300gs I have here.

What do you think, is it a good deal?

I don't live in the US, and I don't have the zip code of the person which will buy that for me now, but it's below the 600 I hope.

I think you better get a better air cooler if you're going to overclock more than 2.4GHz...try a Zalman CNPS 9500 LED or 9700 and Tuniq Tower 120, these are the best air coolers.

Thanks.
I've seen some people get 3.0ghz with the ACF 7.
I'll check the Zalman, hope is not too pricey.

oh yeah right then. well i recommend the E6600 which has the extra l2 cache. i think its worth it for the extra money. Also, if u plan on going vista, add another gig of ram.

Thanks for the advice, I'm going Vista but I'll get another ram later with the new video card.
A little low on cash right now.

To be honest, that's the cooler I have, and even though my overclock isn't much (1.86 Ghz -> 2.1 Ghz), my temps never get above 42 under full load. The Freezer 7 Pro is a VERY nice cooler and is extremely quiet.

Yeah, I saw you recommended that cooler on another thread.
That's why I'm getting it.
