Pentium 4 or PD

i maybe buy new cpu is better Pentium 4 (P4) or Pentium D (PD) i think SSE,SSE 2 ... and is the PD newest than P4 and its better ???

Pentium D is much better

and what functions have this PD have SSE 3 ???

yes it has SSE 3 and the higher models come with a 65NM and they are dual core also

yes PD is DC dual core and i buy P4 it has SSE 3 and its 1/2 price down than PD

And will get about half of the Pentium D-Frames. Zero mentionend reasons for this in his blog...

what the PD have in game 100 and in the same game P4 have only 50 ???

Since we're in the PCSX2 forums you mean the performance in this program? If that's the case then yes, performance might get nearly doubled with a dual core.

However, most of normal PC games won't be much faster on a Pentium D than on a normal Penitum 4 with similar clock rates because they don't take advantage of dual core processors. Also the PD has basically the same architecture as the newest P4 core (Prescott).

just buy Pentium D. don't think twice cause Pentium D is dual core and it doubles the the speed. its also support MTGS
