Good PCI video card

I've got a Voodoo 4 4500 and I'm thinkin about a new video card. They have Geforce 2 MX400 64mbs for about 90 bucks but i dont know if i should keep my voodoo or not. Would it really improve performance or not? Are there any better cards?

from your topic, I don't know if you have AGP capability, cuz I think the V4 was available in PCI. But as for performance differance, its just be nicer in OGL, much worse in Glide than your V4. As for Direct3d I don't know, try searching for some benchmarks on that.

Uh, Geforces don't have Glide support Ryoga.
dumunky: If your V4 is PCI, you can get a Geforce and keep your V4 too, for good Glide support

I'd get the Voodoo 5 5500 PCI, probably the best PCI videocard you can get. You might have to search around for it though.

I don't have a AGP slot and after I get my Audigy, Iwon't have any more PCI slots (I only have two) so I'm wondering if I should just get a nw one. (I'd put the voodoo in my old pc)

Well if its got a V4 it should be ok... don't know if you'll get a massive performance boost as you haven't posted your processor or other spec though.

I'd recommend the GeForce 2 MX/400 64MB. Probably the best video card you can get right now for PCI, especially considering there's no more official support for 3dfx cards...
