That's excellent! A fantastic modding.

Edit:
I can't get PSXPAD drivers installed as my TigerGame is not able to be reomoved on control panel.

so you just connect the controller to the pc? would it not be cheaper to just buy a pc controller, configure the buttons for pcsx2 and play like that?

That's great and all, but I really don't see a point to this thread.

Um they have a USB device that allows you to use PS2 controllers for PC. No use going to that trouble....

Well, this is a support forum for for the emulator, not show and tell. This type of post belongs more in the hardware discussion forum, thus, it's moved.

Yes, but it's not specific to PCSX2, as it's more a hardware mod. Generally, the PCSX2 forums are for support that relates SPECIFICALLY to the emulator. This doesn't quite fall into that category.

Except that controllers made for PC are complete garbage.

I use a PS2 -> USB converter and I'm glad I picked one up.

Memory card slot work, but only for Playstation 1 cards and saves blocks.
Im using the software: "MemoryCard Captor Sakura"
With this, I transfer saves from internet and emulator(ePSXe) to real memorycard chips.
I not test this with PS2 memory cards.

It's funny that I have both a Xbox360 controller and a PS2 controller adaptor and so far I am finding the Xbox360 controller to be quite a bit better than the PS2 controller

Well, I use the PS2 controller for epsxe emulation and my xbox controller for chankast (both are wireless btw )

Hey, that is a really nice mod, may I know how did you get the controllers to work, which drivers does the controller follow? Does it allow rumble support and analog stick support?

Every funcions work with this mod, DualShock (1 and 2), analog stick, everything, but this funcions must be suported by game (or emulator) for example: pcsx2 suport: Dualshock(rumble) and analog stick.
ePSXe too.
VGS not suport rumble, like i said, this funcions must be suport by game/emulator

One thing it won't support is the analog buttons, because there is no support for that in current DirectX.
