The best wireless antenna

Im looking for a 802.11g wireless antenna that has a 1-5 mile range. Iv looked online with tiger direct and google but all anyone ever talks about is the dbi improvment. As Iv never tried to do a massive wireless network this large before Id need a good starting point for setting up a large 1-5 mile range network. Anyone got any idea?

are you going to havenetwork repeaters in between ( I assume)
or are you just trying to go from building to building, because if that the case I would just mount antennas in sattelite dishes and aim them at each other (crude but extremely effective.

And yeah like he said /\, why so big?
