Talking New Graphics Card

Legend™ GeForce 6200 256MB/DDR2 AGP8X

That's right, I got a new video card. Which goes by the name above.
I can see a HUGE difference, My games are finally pretty! I know you guys will say it's not worth it, but it is to me.
A very merry christmas indeed!

Yeah, I've gotta say, the 6200 surprised me as far as how well it performs. It won't keep up with a 6600GT, but it's definitely still a good card.

Looks like 6200 is the best bet in the low range cards.
Lets see if I get this or can wait for 6600 prices to come down.

Anyway, congratulations on the new card.

Not bad. I'd like to see it run Quake 4 at 1280x1024. My 6600GT is serving me(and has been) great! I love my new LCD monitor. 19" Viewsonic VP930b connected via DVI. Everything is so beautiful, and I love how the native resolution is 1280x1024. You should overclock it. See how far you can push it.

I upgraded from a cheap Chaintech GeForce4 MX 440 64MB 128-bit SDRAM.

@ChaosCode: the 9700 Pro is better but oh well. At least you two can play against each other.

@mad: It's 64-bit.

@Master Chief: First I'll get better cooling, then I'll overclock it. Even though the card tops 40*C in games :P

I was getting 7532 in 3DMark 05 running my 7800GT at stock settings (470mhz). I O/Ced it just a bit to 500mhz and it made a considerable difference.

My cpu is an X2 4400+ and I saved myself ~$500 by simply O/Cing it to 4800+ speeds. As long as your cooling is decent, I'd consider O/Cing worth it.
