One of my roommates has a question on computer architecture that has me completely stumped. So without further ado I'll have him post it.

Hello. Does anyone know why set associative mapping is better than direct mapping in cache memory? Thanks in advance. BTW my nick is monty but I'm waiting on email confirmation on it.
