I carefully covered up the VCore so nobody would kill me for torturing this E8400 CPU. But go ahead and do it if you can! I'm getting a Q9450 next! And guess what? I know exactly where to get it at its floor price ($340) and right when it comes out, too.

Vietnam. Heaven of new processors. Guess what? They have TONS of E8400 at $200 to $240 over there... and they also have E8500 at $250 to $270 over there, too. All retail packaged... and NOT A SINGLE SOUL would buy them. Now how's that for wasting?

Edit: And I'm telling you because I'm confident you won't be able to get any if they are... half the globe away. That's why each has his own way to get his gears.

P.S.: The rest of the screen was cut to reduce the image size.
wow... my 3870 comes close to ure 8800GTS G92 :P
And my card only costed me $240CAD while the 8800GTS goes for about $350CAD here.

Go ATI :P

That's why I said that your Q6600 at 3.8GHz would add in a lot. My processor is not even comparable to yours at 3.4GHz even at these clocks... because 3DMark is just like that. Sincerely, every 100MHz extra of yours would be another extra 500 to the total score. By the way, $350 CAD, you say? They are costing $220 USD here.

I have a couple of Crysis benchmarks (I know it's a bad benchmarker), made through the game itself:

This is the CPU bench for my PhenomX4 9950BE @ 2.61GHz (stock):

Crysis CPU Benchmark 32bit DX9 High 1280x1024.JPG

This is the GPU bench for my Sapphire HD4870X2 (with only one core and 1GB operational since I got WinXP):

Crysis GPU Benchmark 32bit DX9 High 1280x1024.JPG

I also got a genuine cd of 3dmark vantage with my card so I'll be posting it's results soon.

I get a higher score now in 3DMark '06!!
My previous best was 14010!
I am guessing this is due to my change from 800mhz ram to 1066mhz ram!
I somehow doubt the SSD has an effect on 3DMark scores
