my 3dmark score. no pic here though, as I'm sitting veeeery far from my usual system. 5500, close enough with un-overclocked geforce 6600, and SSE3 capable mb/processor and mushkin overclockable ram |

Pretty impressive single GPU score there for 3dmark03. 3dmark03 is my favorite benchmark right now simply because it is fully GPU dependent. Even if its not overly reflective. Your CPU seems pretty sturdy too looking at the game test 1 score.

yeh 3dmark03 is awsome i hate 05 and 06 cos they just go too damn slow and i cant stand that, but 03 still gives pretty good reflections of scores and id not tested since putting my DC opty in.i think i need to try n squeeze an extra 200-300mhz out of this tho, should manage it. Nice one on your score, kind of envious of the SLi scores, but i know unless i get a monitor that supports > 1280x1024, its not going to reflect much in real world situations

Here are my benchmarks with my 6800 ultra. Not bad I'd say. All benchmarks were done with the default settings in the application and drivers with one exception. 3dmark 2000 was run with a 1280x1024 resolution.

Pretty insane clocks for a 7900 GT fivefeet. My cards only do 560/1650 in SLI confoguration. I havent tested them in a single card mode. But I just run them at stock ((500/1530)) which is fine for me right now.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. But the card is clocked at 570/1500 by default already. I added about 80 mhz on the core and 100 mhz on the ram. This is with the stock copper cooler too. The card seems to run fine with those clocks which is great and there seems to be even more room left to OC, but I'll keep it at this speed for a bit.

I am really wondering what memory is on these cards. The cores will only do 550 Mhz. Which isnt bad. I am pretty happy with a 500 core to be honest. Its like 70 mhz faster than my 7800GTX cards are. But the memory clocks from 1530 to 1720 ((1700)) which is petty insane memory clock speeds if you ask me for a 7900 GT card.

Jeez fivefeet, Look how much your dual core CPU makes a difference in the overall score. As our clocks are exactly the same :P. This has so far been the only application that has really made me "Desire" a new CPU. I need to look at current software and CPUS and see if upgrading my 3800+ single core is finally justified. I wasnt able to justify it 6 months ago. So I'll look again. It seems to make a massive difference in overall performance/score. Of course then there are the graphic scores which are probably the most relevent for the next year or so. ((2.4 Ghz)) I love posting fillrate results simply because I remember when we were struggling for 4,000 multitexture fillrates. And then the 16 pipe beasts got released and then later 24 pipeline cards. And just seeing SLI fillrates makes me whonkers. I wont even bother posting the 3dmark05 results as its been vertex setup limited so that I have been stuck @ 11,000 points since I got my 7800GTX last year and the 7900GTS havent changed it at all. ((these benches were taken at stock 7900GT clocks of 500/1530))

Actually he right. I have an Athlon 64 3800+ ((single core)) @ 2.4 Ghz. 2.4 gHZ is stock for the single 3800+. I got this CPU when it was 500 bucks like a year and half ago. It has the same single core performance as an athlon 64 4800 X2 @ 2.4 Ghz. But to be honest. I'm not overly thrilled with AMD's current model naming since the introduction of their dual core CPUS so that could mean anything really.
